Behind The Product

Description

Whilst we use the shape and design characteristics of the Krypton, the Neon is specifically designed to accommodate the skiing style of the women. With its distinctive RCD top deck allowing zones of carbon strips; the Neon delivers all the torsional rigidly and explosiveness but with a softer polyurethane foam celled core that allows the ski to ride deeper, requiring less effort to tighten up the skis natural radius. The rounded bevels on the front section of the ski creates that predictable smooth feel, while the harder bevels and deeper concave under the bindings holds angle and cross course direction. The upgdated KD Neon ticks all the right boxes for the intemediate to advanced skier that wants a ski that performs as good as it looks!

WATERSKI SELECTION - SIZING

This is the speed that is maximum for competition Skiers. It is for the Men's Division and the fastest you should ever go pulling a slalom skier.

The maximum speed should only be used while pulling advanced skiers in competitive conditions.

This speed is used by many Advanced and all-women, Junior, and Senior Competition water skiers divisions maximum speed.

Skiers who ski at this speed will choose a ski on the longer side of the weight range or a ski with a slightly wider surface area than someone competing at 36 mph (58 kph).

This speed is ideal for recreational skiers and generally use the 18.25 meter -60ft overall line length.

Great for skiers for free skiing or social skiing, and is a speed that feels comfortable.

Skis designed for this speed will be slightly wider and built with a softer layup.

These skis are generally similar in shape and design but are around 10mm wider than the pro model competition ski. (They are not considered a "wide-body design")

The added width makes the ski ride a little higher on the water as it is designed and enables the ski to carry speed out after the wake at slower speeds.

The softer ski flex is more forgiving in your turns and with the added width produces less fatigue.

This speed is typical of Intermediate and recreational skiers. You have two choices of design that will suit this speed range.

You can select a longer ski that will give you surface area and a bit of length so the ski can ride higher on the water.

The other option is skis are classified as "Wide-Body". The extra widthenables easier starts and effortless carving, giving the skier a more stable ski and less effort to enjoy the ride.

Skis designed for these speeds are also more forgiving and have a slower edge-to-edge movement that promotes confidence and stability.

They are normally wider than a traditional competition ski and a skier would choose to ride the longer size range.

The wide Body design is 20+ mm wider in the forebody and has a tapered shape to the tail. (Suggested skis would be The Power Carve)
